Arrangement can be made for transfer to and from airport or seaport if required.

There are now  huge hypermarkets on the Island that have almost everything you desire.

The open local markets are fun to get around and are extensively used by the local and tourists alike and bartering is a way of life.

There are restaurants around the island. They cater for all tastes. There are banking facilities, ATM machines almost everywere and shops are open from early morning till late at night.

Health care is second to none. The standard of cleanliness and service is excellent should you  need  it.

You drive on the left side of the road. An international driving licence is advisable.

As a tourist you can stay up to a month, however you will be required to have a visa for staying longer. You are advised not to overstay your allocated period. A visa can be obtained from the Thai Embassy in your own country or purchase one on arrival.

You must have a return ticket showing the date of departure to qualify for the 30 days tourist visa.
